Comilla is a much larger district from Bangladesh. This is located almost at the middle portion of Bangladesh. This district has several Archaeological spots including Moynamoti. Meghna and Gomti are the two main rivers for this district. Comilla is famous for Rosh Malai. There are a lot of outlets available around Bangladesh that sell Rasmalai. #1 Shalban Bihar & Maynamati Museum
Shalban Bihar is the most visited tourist spot from Comilla district. This archaeological site is one of the most popular destinations from Bangladesh (in terms of archaeology). #2 Maynamati war cemetery

#3 Chondi mura temple

#4 Jagannath temple

#10 Fun in river Gomti
Comilla has two predominant rivers. One is Meghna, and another one is Gomti. I had a chance to visit the river Gomti. It was the dry season, and the water level of the river was too low. Had some swimming there during the afternoon. You just don’t travel and explore, you must make some fun out of it as well.

How to go to Comilla
There are several bus services available from Saydabad Bus Stand. Tisha and the Asia Line are the best available services for Comilla. It would cost around 120-150 Taka per head (as of 2012). Also you can take any luxury bus from Chittagong and can leave at Comilla. A Train service is available from Dhaka too. I don’t know much information about that train from Dhaka.
Where to stay
There are few medium quality hotels in Comilla district. I think I’ve stayed at Hotel Moynamoti for one night. It was a budget hotel with very low facilities. Comilla is very close to Dhaka and it is possible to make a day trip from Dhaka and return back. I’d recommend staying in Dhaka as there are plenty of top quality hotels there.
