There are few medium quality hotels in Comilla district. I think I've stayed at Hotel Moynamoti for one night. It was a budget hotel with very low facilities. Comilla is very close to Dhaka and it is possible to make a day trip from Dhaka and return back. I'd recommend to stay in Dhaka as there are plenty of top quality hotels there. Find here List of hotels from Dhaka.
