Sunset in St Martin's Island - Bangladesh

Sunset in St Martin's Island, Bangladesh

St Martin's Island is a nice place to watch the sunset as there is nothing but water on that side. During our staying in the St Martin's Island we have enjoyed a magnificent sunset there. Best place to watch the sunset in the island is the western side. We have stayed at the eastern side of the island. That's why we had to do a bit of walking to reach at the other side.

Two kids are collecting mussel from the beach.

After the lunch we have gone to the beach located at the northern shore of the St Martin's Island. Our main target was to observe the sunset from the beach at western side. As we still had more than few hours on hand we have decided to freshen up at low tide waves from the beach. It was Friday, but interestingly this portion of the island was having less crowded. We have played in low tide water for around half an hour.

The sun is almost down, just few portion left (05:37 pm).

05:37 pm was the time for the sunset. So by keeping plenty of time on hand we have started towards the western side of the island. It was slightly difficult to walk over the sand at the beach. That's why it took more than usual time to reach there.

But when we've reached there, everything was set for the show. Only few tourists and we were standing at the wet beach for saying the sun a goodbye for the day. To me, sunset is always lovely around the rivers and the oceans. I love to watch such things again and again, and never feel tired. As our hotel was at the eastern side of the island, we had to do a long walk in the dark after the show is over.
