The main and most prominent river from Bandarban district is the river Sangu. This is the main water source of the district. This is a shallow river at normal season. But it has always a heavy water flow towards the downhill. At rainy season this is a ferocious river like any other mountain rivers. Its water level raises up at rainy season, and it becomes more deadly that time.

People use to carry the bamboos through the river like this as it is much faster and cheaper way.

I'd suggest you to hire a boat which is not driven by machine. Cause the chaotic sound of the machine will make your journey slightly unpleasant. Better take a man driven boat. It will move a bit slowly, but you'll have maximum pleasure from it. Also if you want to have a swim at the river Sangu then you can stop your boat anywhere and have your fun.
